    All supplies and jewelry undergo sterilization prior to each piercing procedure. Clients are provided with aftercare solutions and detailed instructions for post-piercing care. Our team remains available to address any questions or concerns that may arise.

Age Restrictions

At the Hive Studio, we adhere to state regulations while prioritizing the safety and well-being of our clients. Here are the essential details regarding age restrictions for piercings:

  • In Iowa, there are no statutory age limits regarding piercings.

  • However, our studio policy mandates that all clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • The presence of a parent or legal guardian is required to provide consent for the piercing procedure.

  • Additionally, a parent or legal guardian must present a valid photo identification that is not expired.
